Came within $500 of buying a new car today. It still went for a good price, but it is probably best that I don’t add another automotive mouth to the family.

Oh, I didn’t notice the bid was for a Pao.
You might not be sorry you didn’t win, but I am.

It went pretty cheap and looked to be a nice car. I’ve already got the 90 Mini for kicks and giggles.

So if I wanted to aquire a tiny mini, stateside, what years would be best?

Looks like a nice price. Certainly the ones from the guy who sold Torch his are way more:
Of course possibly the reason he has a giant warehouse full of cars is because he doesn’t price them to move?

Did you check if you could get a KUNG personalized plate in Georgia?

I guess it depends on what you are going for. Prestige would be a Mark I up to 1967. Beyond that they are all kind of the same. Subtle differences. I think they changed the suspension in the 70s. The JDM ones tend to be sought after as they have improved cooling and some have AC. They may also come with cool mods depending what people did with them
The big thing for me is the condition of the chassis and body. I don’t want to fight a bunch of rust.
If you ever thought about getting one I would recommend it. They are huge fun. Even if you just had it for a year you could sell it for what you paid or more.
